change software license to BSD

i'm not even sure if it's in fact valid for this project to have a GPL when it clearly includes and depends on google's BSD licensed code. anyway i don't like how restrictive GPL is in comparison to the BSD license, therefore i intend to change the license to BSD soon. and all versions/commits after that will be under the BSD license.
