• Try to disable 'DBUsActivatable' and see if it works?

With the above desktop file, it gets added to history for me:

can you launch rofi from a terminal and do:

rofi -show drun -filter pika then run it.

Does it print any warning/errors on the terminal?

Ok. no error but just:
