Insane latency

Hello, is there any way to lower the stream latency? Right now it feels quite high / insane, even when using low latency settings. I already tried adjusting the buffer settings, but it doesn’t seem to reduce the delay much.

Also, is this project still actively maintained, or is it considered inactive/dead?

The project is defunct, it never really moved forward in terms of community contributed development and full 3rd party integration. Although it seems it does have a few core features that are still operational. Now for how much longer, I couldn't guess, but it does appear that the writing is on the wall.
