Is there a way to disable WhatsApp 'Status Updates'?

This instagramification of everything is very annoying, especially because in nchat there's notification for every status update (i.e. stories) on WhatsApp.

So it would be great if there was a way to disable this feature completely -- not even showing 'Status Updates' in the contact list.

Hi @fulalas - I believe it can be completely hidden by editing ~/.config/nchat/ui.conf and setting

status_broadcast=0
