Add support for @ mentions in chat

I love the tool and I use it extensively.
I would like to request a feature to add @ mentions like in normal whatsapp to mention the people in a group.
If possible I would like for you to add that .

Yes this feature request has come up a few times before, and it's something I started to look at a bit. I have some ideas how it can be implemented, I hope I can find some time for it soon.

Support for mentioning other users has been added in e6e6ec6 / v5.14.1.

One can either type out the mentioning in text, e.g. @Michael (and @[Michael Scott] if the name has spaces), or one can use the mention / group member list dialog alt/opt-2.
