when installing the ws281x plugin it opens the os config tests. when i press on "fix this issue" it edits the /boot/cmdline.txt and /boot/config.txt

the issue is that the files it actually needs to edit are the /boot/firmware/cmdline.txt and /boot/firmware/config.txt

for now i will manually edit the files, but i hope this bug can be fixed in the future

Does this mean that the plugin will get an update to fix this?

That's up to @cp2004. In the meantime you could install from my fork with an unknown version number, since it's not an official release and just ignore the update warnings.

In plugin manager > get more > ...from URL, copy paste this URL in and click install.

Sorry - I don't currently have access to my Pi/LED setup to sort this out. Unfortunately I'm pretty flat out with other commitments at the minute so I don't think I'll be going back to get it soon...! Will take a look at the PR and see if I can push out an update (with a large 'untested' disclaimer' or at the very least let ensure "new" installs get the updated paths, maybe later this week or next.

@jneilliii i already have it working by manually editing the txt files. I am just sugesting this for future installs, and more importantly for others who are not good with coding.
