This looks like an interesting project. I stumbled on it when trying to find a self hosted method for transcribing web audio so it fits the bill.

I intend to use the Igpu on an intel 7500 for this so went ahead and created a docker LXC container on a proxmox system I have at home. started up the openvino build in here and it looks to be running ok.

Next I added the Chrome extension successfully but it seems to have no options for config, to point it at my docker backend etc?

It runs and I can click start capture etc but nothing happens, How are you supposed to use this?

@G0dm0de1981 To use the chrome extension with docker, it should have just worked since the default port in the docker config is 9090 which is what the default port is in the chrome extension config. So, the question is are you using the docker image that we share in ghcr or you build one yourself. If you build one yourself, are you exposing the right port for chrome to see it?

Hi. Yeah I used your docker image, I wasn't aware the extension was set to look at localhost:9090 and I was attempting to connect from other machines in my network. I got it working by changing that in popup.js to the docker IP.

I am still tinkering, issue I am looking at now is the fact it keeps dropping back to CPU processing instead of Intel IGPU even though I am running the openvino image. Most likely something to do with how I have it setup. Proxmox > LXC > Docker so still testing.

looks like its falling back to cpu because it can't download the model from huggingface.co/api/models/base/revision/main as it can't find the repository. I have tried all manner of workarounds suck as downloading one manually but I have failed miserably.
