+The **CloudNativePG Community** is pleased to announce the release of the
+**CloudNativePG Operator** versions 1.25.1 and 1.24.3. Notably, this is our
+first release since joining the CNCF Sandbox.
+
+**Key Updates in this release:**
+
+- **Operator Startup Probe:** Enhanced reliability during initialization by
+  introducing a startup probe to prevent premature liveness probe failures.
+
+- **Security Enhancements:** Strengthened the operator image build process by
+  signing images with `cosign`, generating OCI attestations that include
+  Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) and provenance data, and adding OCI
+  annotations for improved traceability and integrity.
+
+- **Backup Reliability Fixes:** Resolved several race conditions affecting
+  volume snapshot backups, improving backup stability and consistency.
+
+- **Additional Enhancements:**
+  - Support for using the `-r` service with the Pooler.
+  - Optional `--ttl` flag for the `pgbench` plugin, allowing automatic deletion
+    of completed jobs after a user-defined duration.
+  - Marked known error messages from the Azure CSI Driver for volume snapshots
+    as retryable, improving resilience.
+  - Updated the default PostgreSQL version to 17.4 for new cluster definitions.
