building bare metal on windows but running on qemu/bochs

can the bare metal examples buy built with a windows based tool chain and be run on qemu for windows?

I have never tried, but if you have both GCC and QEMU on Windows (and Make, or do it manually), it should work, there aren't any hardcore dependencies on that one. Haven't tried though.
