✌️ New CHAOSS Governing Board Election Procedures
The CHAOSS Board will be implementing new election procedures for the makeup of the Board moving forward. This new procedure brings transparency, clarification, and a more solid path to leadership, and it gives the community more of a voice by giving active members the chance to vote on potential candidates. This was in the works for a few months, so thank you to the current Board Members for all your hard work.
The Board will be developing a timeline for implementation, but in the meantime you can read the new elections document and rthe evised Project Charter for details.
🤝 The University Working Group has Merged with Research/Science Working Group & CURIOSS
The University/Academic Working Group decided to disband and roll off into two segments that were already overlapping with the bulk of the work the group was doing.
This should help consolidate efforts and clarify places for collaboration.
