Define a timeline for what needs to be done to give us the capability of using object storage for CMIP7.
It will depend on the software and tools that the CMIP7 scientists will want to use e.g. per-workflow or global solutions. Likely needs discussion.

Object Storage capacity is currently about half full - spare space but only for another year (until April 26). Renewing the software layer would extend but does have a cost (£40-50 K). Issue of whether object store would be compatible with the tools and service development for CMIP7. We don’t think it would be toooo hard but someone still needs to do that work.
