Feat - improve performance #75
Description
I love what you're doing with caelestia shell! That said, this CLI could use a performance uplift.
It makes a difference when it comes to things that are bound to keybinds (like brightness up/down), where slow response really impacts the feel and usability of the shell.
I don't know what the bottlenecks in this are, but I hope there's room within python to lower the response time of things like this. If python is the bottleneck, it might be worth rewriting (or translating) some parts into a lower-level language.
