I don't know anything about the official version of Kleki getting updated to a 4000x4000 size canvas, but I do selfhost Kleki myself and have set the max canvas size to 4096x4096 and a max of 25 layers. If you would like to use it visit https://home.nerdtown.cc/klecks/ |

I will probably support this as the next roadmap item (after warp transform). I will change how the canvas is rendered, which will improve performance and allow for larger canvas sizes up to 4098x4098 as well support high dpi screens. |

I want to start by saying that I absolutely LOVE Kleki. It has been my go-to art platform for almost five years, even more so than Ibis Paint or Clip Studio, because it is so simple to use and easy to learn. However, I have one recommendation: it would be great to increase the maximum canvas size. Personally, I enjoy creating larger drawings, as they allow me to add more detail. I often find myself using the maximum canvas size of 2048 x 2048. I'm unsure if the system can handle a larger canvas size or if it could cause issues or bugs, but if it is ever possible, a size of at least 4000 x 4000 would be cool! ^^
