This video is an appendix to the guide created by benkay86. I felt that some people would learn better from a video so it's why I made this tutorial. There are also some improvements to settings (thanks Paul). What this tutorial contains:
1: Making and flashing a premade OpenWRT image
2: Configuring batman-adv in OpenWRT
3: Configuring a radio for the batman mesh
4: SSID configuration with fast roaming
4: Setting up a client node and highlighting the differences. You can repeat for how many nodes you need.
Changes made from benkay86 guide:
1: Changed to mbedtls rather than openssl or wolfssl. I did lots of reading and experienced users have always recommended mbedtls as the latest for mesh. It's also the default in OpenWRT anyway.
2: Override MTU setting with 1528 configured on batman interface as mentioned by Paul.
