Build failed on macOS m1 with CMake

I'm trying to build the following crate on macOS m1 for android arm64:

git clone --recursive -b feat/aarch64-linux-android https://github.com/thewh1teagle/aec-rs
cd aec-rs
rustup target add aarch64-linux-android
cargo install cargo-ndk
export NDK_HOME="$HOME/Library/Android/sdk/ndk/27.0.12077973"

But it failed with error:

Fresh project with cargo ndk compile successfully. but with CMake it doesn't.

armeabi-v7a target works. the problem is with arm64-v8a target. when I pass it, it try test program with arm7 instead

I had to configure the following in build.rs:

Then it compiled successfuly.
Looks like the default clang in ndk is broken and it doesn't able to compile simple c program.

It's a cmake thing. I suspect the only two lines that actually mattered there are:

    config.define("ANDROID_ABI", "arm64-v8a");
    config.define("ANDROID_PLATFORM", "android-35");
