Hi @basharovV,

I was looking at the country info and found several problems:

• the country is set for the artist. It's fine until there are exceptions. Raphael is a Japanese band and a French singer...
• the country of album is the country of the first song:
  • all the artists of the album might not be from the same country
  • it doesn't set the country for all the songs of the album

Maybe we should ask questions before saving like:

• set country "yyy" to the artist "xxx"
• set country "yyy" to the album "xxx"
• ...

It would a dropdown of the countries for manual entry would be good. (WikiProject Countries)

Hey man, cheers for the feedback. My thoughts:

• Naturally I'd like to keep this focused on artists, people don't generally associate where an album or song is from. FYI I use the "country of origin" entity: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Property:P495
• Yes at the moment I'm not sure how to handle the duplicate artist name situation without changing the db and storing the originCountry in a separate artists table. That way we will know exactly which artist is which. Initially I didn't want to do that to avoid additional lookups, but I'm open to trying it and seeing how it affects performance. It would also pave the way for a new "Artists" view 🤔
• Yes a dropdown/autocomplete would be great!
