Support x8i instances #640
Description
What would you like to be enhanced:
Add support for x8i instance types. which were introduced in 15.1.2026 (https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/whats-new/2026/01/aws-amazon-ec2-x8i-generally-available/).
Why is the change needed and what use case will it solve:
We would like to include these instances in Karpenter in order to spin them up within our EKS clusters.
