Leave it alone for a few minutes – the slower your hardware, the longer it will take. When you first run HyperHDR, a LUT is dynamically created in your home folder. |
|
beside webOS requires special LUTs, you can find help here: https://github.com/satgit62/Ultimate-HyperHDR-Ambilight-fine-tuning-experience-for-LG-webOS-with-new-LUT-calibration- or calibrate lut forwarding flatbuffers to PC. |
Hello, I can only think of the “Instant Game Response” (IGR) or the game mode on LG as a possible source of error. When "Instant Game Response" is enabled on LG TVs, HyperHDR may not be able to load the correct LUT because this feature blocks access to certain picture settings. This is because “Instant Game Response” puts the TV into a special gaming mode that is optimized for low latency and restricts the adjustment of many picture parameters - including PicCap video capture and the associated LUT table. This has been reported and confirmed by owners of LG C9 and CX series devices. When this option is disabled, the NV12 is recognized immediately and the corresponding LUT with the "index 1 for HDR YUV" is loaded correctly. If you have installed the HyperHDR version from my new guide, the compressed and uncompressed LUTs will be installed in the correct directories and the corresponding symlinks will be set. However, I think they have found the cause themselves in the meantime. If not, please let me know. |

i have a LG G5 rooted with piccap and hyperhdr 22beta version. I've enabled nv12 in piccap. I've also downloaded the LUT in hyperhdr but if i exit and enter again in the hyperhdr app i cann see thtat there is no LUT table associated, so the LEDS are not working at all. I enabled HDR also in the webui of HyperHDR but still not working... If I disable the nv12 in piccap and disable HDR in hyperhdr it starts working fine. Can somebody tell me how to troubleshoot this? |

This is the firmware I use in rp2040: https://github.com/awawa-dev/HyperSerialPico/releases/download/v11.0.0/HyperSerialPico_ws2812.uf2 Tomorrow will send logs |

Hello, I've enabled the logs in debug mode and I can see this message repeating all the time: [FLATBUFSERVER] The NV12 image data size (0) does not match the width and height (0) or it's empty. I attach a video of the config in the TV: https://streamable.com/jm00lv. There you could see that the LUT dissapear after installing... I don't know if its a good behaviour or not Also attach this pictures of the webui of the HyperHDR now (leds not working due to the "Enable RGBW with dithering by Infinite Color Engine" option enabled...
The log is here: |

becuase it's mentioned in the guide: https://github.com/satgit62/Ultimate-HyperHDR-Ambilight-fine-tuning-experience-for-LG-webOS-with-new-LUT-calibration-#2-hyperhdr-installation-instructions Can you confirm if the other configurations are ok for my environment? Finally, do you know why i have to much errors like this? "The NV12 image data size (0) does not match the width and height (0) or it's empty." Thanks for answering |

@bone6000 “The NV12 image data size (0) does not match the width and height (0) or it's empty” means that PicCap/Hyperion-WebOS is sending empty images, which means capturing isn't working. |

Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
Bug report, debug log and your config file (FULL LOGS ARE MANDATORY)
Steps to reproduce
What is expected?
What is actually happening?
Get an error: The LUT file is not loaded. A new LUT was requested. It usually takes less than a minute
I tried to run lut calibration but Piccap crashes because it's too much heavy to produce 1280x720 screen capture.
