libtorrent v2.0.11: no support for piece length of 2147483648

As it can be seen here, an issue has been identified with libtorrent, which qbittorrent is using, to be because it doesn't support .torrent files that have a piece length of 2147483648.

I don't think libtorrent should support piece sizes of 2 GiB. But I'm open to hearing arguments in favor.

Requiring 2.5Gbps bandwidth for 2GB pieces is totally unrealistic for today’s internet. Most people just don't have that kind of speed. Ideally, a piece should be finished within 10 seconds, and if it takes longer than 3 minutes, it’s basically useless for efficient swarming. Since mainstream BT clients already cap piece sizes at 256MB, pushing for 2GB is honestly unnecessary.

Why would libtorrent not support any piece size instead of not being able to open or crash?
Would it not be more benefic to be able to read any torrent no matter the piece size, even if it's not efficient swarming.(coming back to transmission which didn't seem to have had a problem)
I mean... in a group with fast downloaders, it would still be efficient, if I follow that logic. Thinking of downloaders that have 10Gbps bandwidth, not just 2.5.

Such piece sizes are lethal to the torrent.
