I just ran into the same issue, wondering why an ApisixGlobalRule wasn't taking effect, not realizing that it needed spec.ingressClassName set.

The resolution is simple, but I'm wondering if it would make sense to reject an ApisixGlobalRule if there is no ingressClassName when .Values.config.kubernetes.defaultIngressClass is false?
