Swift Radio is now on Android

Swift Radio has a native Android version: Swift Radio Android.

It’s built from scratch with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Media3. Not a wrapper, not a cross-platform port. It uses the same stations.json format as the iOS version, so if you already have a remote stations file, it works on both platforms without changes.

What’s included:

• Android Auto with browse tree, artwork, and playback controls
• Background playback with lock screen and notification controls
• Live metadata and album art from ICY streams and the iTunes API
• Search and filter stations
• Material You dynamic colors on Android 12+
• Pull-to-refresh and localization support
