Cava no working

I downloaded cava, restarted the pc but cava is not working

This is a common issue on Windows.

On Windows, cava doesn’t automatically know which sound device to listen to, so you have to tell it manually.

1. Open Terminal / PowerShell and run:

cava -l

This will show a list of audio devices.
Note the one you are actually using (for example: Speakers (Realtek Audio)).

2. Create the Cava config file:

%USERPROFILE%.config\cava\config

3. Put this in the config file (replace the speaker name with yours):

[general]
bars = 40
framerate = 60
autosens = 1

[input]
method = wasapi
source = Speakers (Realtek(R) Audio)

[output]
method = ncurses
orientation = horizontal

4. save the file, close the terminal, open a new one, play some music, and run:

cava

Are you sure that this will work on Windows source = Speakers (Realtek(R) Audio)?
Should I include source options in this widget?

Also pretty sure if only works on stereo outputs. like it works on my headphones but not my 5.1 speakers. thats not a yasb thing but a canva thing
