v1.3.0 tv_grab_zz_sdjson does not contain the subtitles/"deaf_signed" information
Not sure if this is a Schedules Direct or xmltv issue, or maybe both?
SD are supposed to have a "signed" boolean attribute.

It used to be there many years ago with the UK Atlas grabber/provider.
It would be great if this could be added.

I am not sure Schedules Direct (actually, their upstream) has that information. SD indicates that their audioProperties can be one or more of:

• Atmos - Dolby Atmos
• cc - Closed Captioned
• DD
• DD 5.1
• Dolby
• dubbed
• dvs - Descriptive Video Service
• SAP - Secondary Audio Program
• stereo
• subtitled
• surround

You should open a case with Schedules Direct to see if their upstream can offer the additional attribute of signed. If/When they do, the SD grabbers may be able to utilize that data in some future enhancement.

While SD does, indeed, after rereading your issue, have an optional value "signed" in the schedule data, none of my various test data listings sources (a few in the US, and one in the UK) show the schedule data has having a "signed" value.
If you can obtain from SD an example listing source which the believe should have a schedule with "signed" as true, some enhancements may be possible.

Maybe it depends on how SD get their data from upstream? See the last section here titled "Not yet available in OnConnect APIs" which notes the (un-)availability of the "Signed" attribute.

It's certainly an attribute which should be present in any TV schedule worth its salt in the modern era.

Maybe SD need to pester Gracenote to get them to add that qualifier to their API? :-)

"This is being fixed now. If you pull stationID 25117 it should be reflected. I'm in the process of rebuilding the schedules for all other stations.

The tv_grab_zz_sdjson_sqlite grabber now supports the newly available signed audio properties.

Just checked the newly released v1.4.0 source code.
tv_grab_zz_sdjson still does not handle the subtitles/"deaf_signed" information.
Is anyone able to look into implementing this please?
