Twitchez fails to start after auth (Stack Trace)

Description

After running the twitchez setup and authorizing my account via copy/pasting my
token, the app exits with error code 69. Nice. Then, as prompted, I run it
again and it gives the traceback error shown below. This happens after reinstall
as well.

Steps to reproduce

1. Install twitchez:

pipx install twitchez

2. Run twitchez and follow the instructions to copy the auth key and paste it
   back in the terminal.
3. Run twitchez again

Expected behavior

Twitchez starts normally without error

Config

The config dirs were not created on install or setup. I did not create them
manually.

Thank you for reporting the issue and providing all the necessary information.

Normal program behavior in the absence of required dir:
Program creates all required dirs and files at the startup.
So none of the dirs or files are required to be manually pre-created by the user, or during install of the program.

On the top of my head I have the following assumption:
Maybe some dirs/files cannot be created because the user under which you launch twitchez does not have enough filesystem permissions to create required dirs/files?

Normal behavior - standard filesystem permissions as if you created those dirs/files manually not as root/superuser.
You can try help yourself by inspecting contents of the source code file: ./twitchez/fs.py.
It contains all filesystem paths that are used by the program.
And afterwards you can check filesytem permissions of the dirs and/or their absence using ls -l /tmp/twitchez etc.

A little bit later:
I will check the source code and also try install twitchez via pipx.
I will let you know about the progress on this issue and/or will ask you for additional info, in case I will not find the root of the problem.

I don't see any files in /tmp/twitchez and I am the only user on this system so I am a sudoer.

To make sure that the user has the required filesystem read/write access permissions to the /tmp/twitchez dir.
Run this cmd in your shell as the normal user - without sudo!

Is the file created and can you see its contents in the terminal output?
If you see error - post the error message and its exit code.

I'm seeing this exact same error, here is my environment:

• Operating System: Arch Linux cachyos 6.17.6
• Desktop Environment: Hyprland 0.51.1 Wayland
• Terminal Emulator: kitty 0.43.1
• Shell: zsh 5.9

I also ran the command above and got the same output as @fuguesoft. Let me know if you need more info.
