Currently passwords are currently in plaintext in the log file.
How can this be disabled or encrypted?

Sorry - it's been a busy week for me. I will redact or remove that bit of logging altogether when I can get to it. I'm assuming this is the logging for IMAP connections? That's mostly still there because it's been helpful for debugging, but I can see how leaving it might be problematic.
