Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

SymPress is an open project for people who care about WordPress, Symfony components, practical software architecture, and reliable automation. We pledge to make participation welcoming, respectful, and harassment-free for everyone.

Expected Behavior

  • Be respectful of differing experience levels and technical backgrounds.
  • Keep feedback focused on the work, not the person.
  • Assume good intent while still being clear about problems.
  • Help keep discussions actionable and relevant to SymPress Workflows.
  • Credit ideas, contributions, and prior work where appropriate.

Unacceptable Behavior

  • Harassment, intimidation, insults, or sustained disruption.
  • Discriminatory language or behavior.
  • Publishing private information without explicit permission.
  • Dismissing maintainers, contributors, or users through personal attacks.
  • Any conduct that would reasonably make participation unsafe or hostile.

Enforcement

Maintainers may remove comments, close issues, reject contributions, or restrict participation when behavior conflicts with this code of conduct. Enforcement decisions should be proportionate, documented when appropriate, and focused on protecting the project community.

Reporting

If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, contact the project maintainers privately where possible. Include relevant links, screenshots, timestamps, and context so the report can be reviewed fairly.

Reports will be handled with care and only shared with people who need the information to respond.
