New Feeder App window closes immediately after opening behaviour Breaks Windows Terminal

Like the title says this behavour breaks windows terminal if Spawn new windows as tabs option is enabled by closing the entire window which is an annoying behaviour.

Would be nice if this was configurable

It is configurable, though I won't claim that the configuration is obvious.

The --console command line argument will cause the console not to be hidden. If you add that to a line all on its own in a file called config.txt next to the feeder app executable, it should be picked up by default whenever the feeder is run. (this is true for any of the command line arguments, but each argument must be on its own line.

And in the future the feeder app will be run by the server, there will be no console window at all.
