New Feature Ideas & Feedback

This thread is for sharing your feature ideas, feedback, and improvement suggestions for Enq.
Whether it’s a small quality-of-life tweak or a big new feature proposal, all input is welcome.

What we’re looking for:

• Ideas that make Enq more useful or easier to use

• Feedback on the current API, CLI, or dashboard (if you’ve tried it)

• Integrations you’d love to see (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Cloudflare Workers, etc.)

• Performance or reliability improvements you think could help

• General UX or developer-experience feedback

How to share:

When posting a new idea, try to include:

• What problem it solves or improves

• How you’d imagine it working (examples or pseudo-code welcome!)

• Any related projects, tools, or workflows it could connect with

Example:

Idea: Add job retry policies per queue
Why: Some jobs fail intermittently and need configurable retry logic
How: Add max_retries and backoff_strategy fields to queue definition

Your feedback helps shape the roadmap - and some of the best ideas usually come from the community.
