pin/unpin sidebars should show/hide on side tabs instead of pop it out

Summary

I want sidebars to hide/unhide only and sometime pin sidebars there. but when I pin sidebar to show permanently until I choose to hide then it just pops out the sidebar.

currently if we pin/unpin sidebars then it pops out.
pop out should only if we drag it out from there otherwise pin should stick to the side and unpin should hide it into side tabs

Possible workarounds or alternatives

if currently sidebars are showing only by hovering mouse to their tabs and I want the sidebar to stay there until I won't need then I need to unpin it first which pops that sidebar out and then I have to drag that sidebar to the location to stick it.

Proposed solution

pin = show sidebar
unpin = hide sidebar
popout sidebar = drag out by mouse

Why is this idea important?

easier to show/hide with save time and I wanna use that time to have some tea instead.

It's like Photoshop with a shortcut key to switch between display and hide.
