Hi team,
we are currently working on activity to introduce ARM-based nodes in our
Kubernetes clusters. As part of this effort, we found that the MBTCI build
images used in our projects are not available for ARM64.
Several of our projects rely on MBTCI Java/Node.js images such as
mbtci-java21-node20. The currently published MBTCI images appear to be
linux/amd64-only and do not provide multi-architecture manifests.
In order to continue with this activity, we will need ARM64 images for our
project nodes. Therefore, we would like to ask:
- Are MBTCI Java/Node.js images intended to be amd64-only?
- Is linux/arm64 support planned or considered?
- Would it be possible to build multi-architecture images?
Any clarification or guidance would be highly appreciated.
