[ ] corn appearance animations
The image texture can be varied by the cpu, with intermediate values used to animate corn rising/growing and disappearing. The game will try to do this out of site, but sometimes it will be visible if you turn around quick enough.
[ ] spyglass dof
This requires a camera rendering to a image texture, and the dof post-processing effect.
Scroll to change focus.

Spray paint. Must work for corn and other objects. Must work with corn wind. Needs to be visible far away, but there are limited number of decals. May want to quadmap them.
[ ] shadow manipulation.
