[BUG] Fix error in roles in new-signup under feature flag #1047

Description
The New Signup page was migrated from my-site to the main-site, and it currently fails under the feature flag. The probable reason being the roles passed aren't accepted in the backend.
Expected Behavior
The issue needs to be fixed to pass user-selected roles and complete the signup process under the dev feature flag.
Current Behavior
Signup doesn't work under the dev feature flag
