edit menu shows "edit" instead of just "..."

In 4.3.0 (1e091b9) (latest dev-master) the edit button shows the "edit" word instead of just "..."

no errors in the browser console and the menu is working fine

does not happen in the MediaWiki: and Template: namespace,
does happen in main and User: namespace

This is happening with MW 1.39.3 and Chameleon 4.2.1, 4.2.0, 4.1.0 too:

@krabina What version of MW are you using? Did you update anything else on the wiki? And does going back to an earlier version of Chameleon fix this for you?

1.39.5. I tried the tags 4.3.0, 4.2.1. 4.2.0, 4.1.0, but the problem is always there.
