Problem installing Prestashop ver 9.0

Describe the bug and add attachments

I tried to install Prestashop version 9.0 with PHP ver 8 but the installation broke and the website broke. The error log is attached. I have now called my provider's tech support to do a rollback to the previous version 1.7.11 which worked perfectly.

If I install a clean version of Prestashop 9.0, how can I transfer the products and I have over a thousand of them?

Where is the mistake?

If you check your logs the issue is not update assistant but the module smartargetreviews :

If you uninstall it before update I think all will be good !

Also make sure to respect PHP versions when upgrading from previous versions, php 8.0 is not compatible with PS 9.0 and also check all modules that may not be compatible with version 9.0.0 and are not correctly configured using max version variable.

I set PHP on latest version 8.3 Is it ok?

I you're in 9.0.0 it should be ok with 8.3

Thank you very much. I will set PHP on 8.3 and than I will try to upgrade from 1.7.8.11 to 9.0

One you're in PrestaShop 9.0.0 you change to 8.3, this was just a reminder, your issue is that module as explained, do the same without that module and others that can create issues and repeat the exact same process you did.

So I must first to disable all non-native PS module, than to set PHP on 8.3, than to upgrade to PS ver 9.0
Or first to delete all non-native PS module?

Yes, uninstall all the modules, keep the PHP version you had when you did the first upgrade, 7.4 from 1.7.8.11? and when finished just change to php 8.3 and it should work.

Don't delete them, uninstall them and if you want you can try compatibility after that, some modules well developed can work in PS9.

But on PHP 7.4 I did not see upgrade to PS ver9. Only when I set PHP to 8.3 I see upgrade to PS ver 9. What to do?

I usually do two step upgrade on those situations, using the current version, 1.7.8.11 usually works under 7.4, then upgrade to PS 8 after that I change PHP to 8.1 and upgrade to 9.0.0, after that just set to use PHP 8.3/8.4, but meaby something changed and I'm not aware of.

But I do not recommend going to 9.0.0 because 9.0.1 is almost there and even that one does not resolve some major issues, for me the stable release or prod is 8.2.3.

To make sure I understand:
1st step upgrade PS to ver 8 which is shown to me with PHP 7.4
2nd step upgrade PHP to ver. 8.1
3rd step upgrade PS to ver 8.2.3 (stable)
4th step upgrade PHP to 8.3/4
wait for the new version of PS 9.01
Is that okay?
