Is your feature request related to a problem?
Currently there is no way to prevent a player from lunging forward using a piercing weapon (aka a spear) that is enchanted with lunge. Canceling left click interact events doesn't work.
Describe the solution you'd like.
There should be a dedicated PlayerLungeEvent or EntityLungeEvent which can be cancelled to prevent the lunge. That includes both the velocity applied to the player and the sound that is played when lunging.
Describe alternatives you've considered.
I have simply added a transient attribute modifier to players which makes their attack cooldown really long. And since you can only lunge with full attack cooldown, this effectively prevents them from lunging but it's really scuffed and not applicable for all scenarios (what if you still want the player to be able to attack properly?)
