Change the API Credit Balance to show dollar denomination instead of credits

Request from a user at a recent hackathon. He would prefer to see the Credit balance denominated in dollars and cents because that is how he paid. It takes mental math to calculate how much he has left in monetary terms before he needs to buy more.
