Hello, can you tell me more about how it should be implemented?

Maybe a "Comment" tool that adds comments to a specific point?
But how should comments be viewed? In a sidebar? In the canvas?

The app has a highlighter but isnt specific to text.

I think your issue is about better support for PDF in Butterfly, similar to this one: #959
