the dependencies are showing security vulnerabilities

It is now almost 8 years and there have been no updates to this package. If it is no longer being maintained, then the package should be removed as there are too many vulnerabilities in it at this stage.

Thanks @aashutoshrathi . The async-hook-jl is being included for me as part of https://github.com/aws-powertools/powertools-lambda-typescript, which I am accessing as a lambda layer. I'll raise a separate issue in that project.

@julian-price you can actually just add this as resolution in package.json, to overwrite.
