WebGL context creation failure on WPE WebKit 2.50.1 (scarthgap-latest) with i.MX8MP / Etnaviv

Hi,

I'm running WPE WebKit 2.50.1 from the scarthgap-latest branch on an i.MX8MP-based board using kernel 6.12.57 with Etnaviv.

All the demos from the Khronos WebGL Demo Repository (https://wikis.khronos.org/webgl/Demo_Repository)
run correctly, so basic WebGL functionality is working.

However, when loading the following demo:

https://webglsamples.org/aquarium/aquarium.html

The page displays this message:

“It does not appear that your computer supports WebGL.
Status: Could not create a WebGL context.”

No additional errors or warnings appear in the console.

Do you have any suggestions for troubleshooting or resolving this issue?
