Package the Team 13 fork work into one or more maintainer-readable PRs against IBM/AssetOpsBench.
Current Cut cadence
Default to one first IBM upstream Cut PR unless Dhaval/IBM asks for a different split. This PR should be the smallest package that is still runnable/reviewable as a Smart Grid AssetOpsBench contribution:
Smart Grid domain servers and direct-adapter surface.
SG_DATA_DIR data policy, with no raw class/team CSVs shipped.
IEC/DGA strict-JSON correctness behavior and tests.
Minimal provenance docs and test/smoke evidence that can run in the AOB fork.
This should be opened before the 2026-05-07 15:00 ET class presentation if the deck claims that an upstream AssetOpsBench PR has been opened. It is not a NeurIPS-paper blocker unless the paper claims the upstream PR exists.
Why not a scenarios-only first PR?
A literal scenario-only PR is thinner, but not independently useful for IBM upstream because upstream does not yet have the Smart Grid domain/tools those scenarios exercise. The practical thin PR is therefore domain + data policy + 36 scenarios + IEC/DGA tests, while excluding the heavier research/runner surfaces below.
Later / Full-path PRs
Keep these separate unless IBM requests a combined contribution:
50+ scenario corpus expansion and generated-scenario validation.
Evaluation adapter / judge parity after the IBM evaluation-module direction settles.
Generator-assisted scenario pipeline and provenance tooling.
L3/statistical-fidelity validator.
Agent-as-Tool orchestration runners and MCP batch-mode integration.
Exclusions from the first PR
Do not include class-only assets: notebooks, raw benchmark captures, W&B/dashboard polish, report/deck text, personal/team coordination docs, Insomnia/GCP runbooks, or private planning artifacts.
Acceptance
First IBM upstream PR URL is opened and linked here.
PR body lists shipped domain surfaces, tests run, excluded class artifacts, and data/provenance requirements such as SG_DATA_DIR.
