Allow creation of WMS using selected Layers in geonode

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
We are currently running our own GeoServer and I created the Workspaces for different projects. If I share the WMS-Link only the Layers in the selected Workspace are shared. This is not possible with Geonode (Or I did not find a solution) as I can not change the workspace, as data can not be seen on the UI then.

Describe the solution you'd like
Add a way to create WMS-Links like geonode.XXX.de/wms1 where we can select which layers to add to the wms.

Describe alternatives you've considered
I could run a php-script as wms-proxy and filter the getcapabilities in there to only return the layers i want, but this would be a huge effort for the different services.

The upload uses the geonode workspace by default when you upload data. However, you can also publish Geoserver layers, from different workspaces, to GeoNode. At the moment this requires running the updatelayers CLI command, which will query Geoserver for a list of layers from any workspace.

There are plans to expose the functionality to the GeoNode admin UI in the future.

Thanks for the hint! So I can just adjust it in the geoserver-UI, then run updateLayers and it shuold work as in standalone GeoServer? Thanks a lot, you saved me so much work!

EDIT: It seems to work, but now I have each layer doubled in my geonode UI, but only one per Layer in my GeoserverUI:

At the end of my script I get an:
