I click on install.bat, it gives this error. When I click on start_services.cmd, it blinks and nothing happens. Please tell me what I'm doing wrong (newbie)

well now you should python3 api.py and go to http://localhost:3000/. have you read and follow the readme instructions?

very complicated installation. i gave up trying to connect the vocal cord. this project is for geeks until it gets an automatic installation wrapper.

I'm not a geek. I'm persistent and I ended up using Windsurf to help me find Chrome version problems within the code and tweak it until it got working. It took some time but my advice is do not give up you'll be frusterated but you will learn and eventually 1 AI will help you establish another.

BTW you could also use Cursor or other AI assisted coding solutions. I paid $0 (just my time) to work this out.

ollama is most likely already running, since you are using windows i suggest you use ollama graphical interface. If getting additional problem on windows i suggest you use latest version which run fully on docker (you'll need to read the readme again)

after getting conected, and on first connection, google is asking permission for accepting cookies... Agentseek gets therefore stuck not being able to answer... I have tried to instruct to click on accept but AgentSeek does not seem to be able to unstuck. Any advise please ?

AgenticSeek should not need to accept cookies and should still be able to "see" the whole page content even with an overlay cookies pop-up (it doesn't use OCR but instead parse the HTML). Did it miss the information you were seeking ?

Thanks for the answer... Agentseek gets stuck on a page that it sees where google asks "Before accesing Google ....we use cookies and other data.." ending with 2 blue buttons : Reject / Accept

No command seems to change it from that freeze...

that's a different problem, it's not stuck because of the browser but because the backend running in docker cannot fetch the response from the LLM provider, I suppose you are using ollama ? I fixed several of these issue very recently, most importantly i had to update the readme to specify :

Setup your local provider

Start your local provider (for example with ollama):

Unless you wish to to run AgenticSeek on host (CLI mode), export or set the provider listen address:
export OLLAMA_HOST=0.0.0.0:11434

Then, start you provider:
ollama serve

I believe this should help fixing your issues, if you are not using ollama then you'll need to look at your provider documentation to export the host address to 0.0.0.0 instead of 127.0.0.1
