Action Performed:

Precondition: workspace with 2 members (already existed accounts). Uber connection established. Invitation sent to members.

1. Login as one of the workspace's member
2. Go to Concierge chat
3. Upload Uber receipt to the chat

Expected Result:

User get a message from Concierge reminding him to accept the invite

Actual Result:

User get a standard message from Concierge as regular scan expense

Workaround:

Please re-state the problem that we are trying to solve in this issue.

When a workspace member who has a pending Uber for Business invitation uploads an Uber receipt to Concierge, they receive the standard receipt scan message instead of a reminder to accept the invitation.

What is the root cause of that problem?

The Concierge receipt handler on the backend does not check for pending Uber for Business invitations before sending the default scan message.

What changes do you think we should make in order to solve the problem?

Backend Changes

Update Concierge receipt processing to:

• Detect Uber receipts (via merchant name or metadata)
• Check policy.receiptPartners.uber.employees[userEmail].status
• If the status is INVITED or CREATED, send a reminder using the translation key
  workspace.receiptPartners.uber.acceptInviteReminder
• Otherwise, continue sending the standard scan message

Frontend Changes

• Added hasPendingUberInvitation() and getPolicyWithPendingUberInvitation() to PolicyUtils.ts
• Added translation key workspace.receiptPartners.uber.acceptInviteReminder to en.ts
• Added a supporting validation check in useAttachmentUploadValidation.ts
