Remove ± rank from nested view, add absolute rank in flat view #539
Description
- Ranks won or lost are meaningless without the actual absolute rank. Going from 1st to 2nd is vastly different than going from 350th to 351st.
- Relative ranks presented in isolation make no sense (until you hover, which adds effort)
- Ranks don't make much sense for nested data, in fact determining rank was the primary purpose of the flat view.
I propose:
- Remove ranks entirely from the nested view
- Add absolute rank in the flat view
- Move relative rank together with absolute rank, perhaps something like this:
