Chrome crashes and states handle is invalid

Description

Hi folks,
Upon testing for about 20 minutes Chrome just closed and outputted this on the console

I've already whacked this error message on my discussion post, but I have decided to formally put it in Issues as that's where it's meant to go. Please see if this bug can be fixed if you can.

Minimal Reproduction

Simply left it running for 20 minutes and came back to notice Chrome crashed with this output

I had a similar issue, but it always would crash Chrome before a single code was used and bring up the WinError 6 bug after I had restarted my device. While this might not be the most helpful, I was able to solve this issue by uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome, after that it would allow me to run the program and for Chrome not to immediately crash.

Thanks for the tip, doesn't bother me about reinstalling it as I use Firefox and literally only just installed Chrome for this haha

Unfortunately I'm not free to investigate fully but from the looks of it, an element which the browser tries to click gets blocked by another element on top of it, causing a cascading crash that immediately crashes the browser. When the code then tries to refer to the browser driver but it doesn't exist, it crashes (thats what "invalid handle" means)

People feel free to test, make fixes, or try and figure out the bug yourselves, it's pretty safe

I pulled the latest version and it gave me this response (replacing my real name with User Name) that I copied and pasted below. Based on the part that states "This version of ChromeDriver only supports Chrome version 145
Current browser version is 144.0.7559.110", it might be something with the Chrome version, but I don't know that much about it so I'm only speculating on what it could be.

oh yeah, had the same error. maybe we should wait for Chrome version the forcer needs, i guess?

Go to line 93, src/backend.py
and replace the line

            driver = uc.Chrome(headless=config.program.headless, options=opts)

with

            driver = uc.Chrome(headless=config.program.headless, options=opts, version_main=144)

now set that 144 to whatever version chrome driver you have installed.
