Neon has a massive 3.4GB .git history #1329
Description
Cloning Neon takes a very long time because of the massive .git history. @yinanazhou suggested that Neon used to have lots of heavy sample images in the past, and all of these adds up over time.
neon_wrapper suffers from this eventhough it clones a 4-year-old Neon commit. I found this issue while building python3-celery on Rodan
