Feature request: TTS only version

Can we have a slim version that just does TTS? From a Moose perspective that would be immensely helpful, as rpc is faster than the command lines. Thanks!

Can you clarify what the goal here is? Even just with TTS I think the setup would be the same as the main version. Is this a performance concern? A concern about having a listen port (that would still be protected from remote access by firewall)? Install size? something else?

Goal is simple - I don't want the part which mangles the DCS mission data via Events, but just the TTS server to connect Moose smoothly

We are not looking at building a separate version of DCS-gRPC for any specific use-cases that are a subset of the total functionality. Having said that there are some options:

1. Event handling can be disabled by commenting out this line: https://github.com/DCS-gRPC/rust-server/blob/main/lua/DCS-gRPC/grpc.lua#L250
2. We would not be against this being a config option if someone can contribute the change.
3. The project could be forked and all non-TTS functionality removed.

Are you sure that you mean Line 250 - or would Line 251 the one you've had in mind?
