I've been working on a bash script that will poll that API of Peertube servers, get their follows, and follow those folks myself.
The idea is, if I'm on TubeFree.org and I know and trust MakerTube.net, I trust their follows, so why not follow them directly as well?
If this could be implemented into Peertube as a chain of trust, you list servers you trust and the Peertubes can talk and auto follow between each other. Thus growing the network. And it'd only still have to be updated once per day.
Yes we'd have to watch out for servers we don't agree with, but this would give us a fungi that spreads throughout and helps us grow content everywhere.
