Trying to install linter-flake8 and atom is saying flake8 is not installed on the path

I have removed atom and the packages multiple times and re-downloaded them in an attempt to fix the issue but it has persisted even through it all. I'm not sure where it is going wrong on my or linter-flake8's end.

All atom software up to date as of 12/16/2020, on Mac OS 10.15.16.

Did you follow the install instructions in the package description? There are several dependencies you have to install in your virtual environment (outside of Atom) before installing the package.

Note: It was working fine for me on Pop!OS with python 3.9, but it is not working in Manjaro with Python 3.10, which I believe removed support for python 2 (which I think linter-flake8 uses).
