ETHICS & MISUSE DISCLAIMER

OLLVM-Next (Ensia): The next generation LLVM based Obfuscator

CRITICAL NOTICE: This software is a "dual-use" technology. Due to the extreme potency of the obfuscation techniques implemented (derived from the Hikari lineage), the resulting binaries are designed to be resilient against modern reverse-engineering tools and manual analysis.

1. Purpose of the Project

This tool is developed for defensive and educational purposes, including:

  • Protection of intellectual property and proprietary algorithms.
  • Hardening applications against unauthorized tampering, patching, and cracking.
  • Advancing research into compiler-based security and code transformation.

2. Prohibited Use

The maintainers of this project strictly prohibit the use of this software for the development or distribution of:

  • Malware, Ransomware, or any form of malicious code.
  • Surveillance software or tools designed to violate user privacy.
  • Any software that facilitates illegal activities.

3. Responsibility & Liability

By using this obfuscator, you agree to the following:

  • User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the legal and ethical implications of the software you obfuscate.
  • No Warranty: The authors provide this tool "as is." We are not responsible if your software is flagged as "false positive" by Anti-Virus (AV) engines or EDR solutions due to the nature of the obfuscation.
  • Attribution: While this tool is powerful, it must be used within the bounds of the AGPL-3.0 License as outlined in LEGAL.md.

4. Ethical Stance

We believe in the right to privacy and the protection of intellectual work. However, we acknowledge that high-strength obfuscation can be a "double-edged sword." We encourage all users to act with integrity and use these tools to build a more secure digital ecosystem, not a more dangerous one.

Failure to adhere to ethical standards when using this tool reflects solely on the user and not the developers of the Hikari-based framework.
